IMPORTANT: New Minnesota Rules for CRPs

Beginning with 2024 CRPs, the Minnesota Department of Revenue (MN DOR) has indicated that they will be the sole source for certificates of rent paid. This means that landlords are no longer allowed to generate CRPs using software programs like CRP Gen. Instead, landlords must format their renter data and upload it to the MN DOR servers. Once there, the data will be captured and used to generate CRPs that can be downloaded to your computer and printed.
